Veronica Foster

Veronica Huerta Foster is a proud Navy Veteran, mental health writer, and certified Peer Support Specialist for Veterans in recovery from mental illness and addiction. She has worked in the medical field for over a decade as an emergency medical technician, psychiatric assistant, and health technician in Los Angeles County. Now, she focuses on creating high-quality research content on mental illness, addiction, and other issues related to health and wellness. She is a journalism graduate of Cal State Long Beach and a proud first-time mom of a toddler. On her days off she likes to game online and practice mindfulness and meditation.
